This weekend, EZ Flex was honored to be a part of the record-breaking 'Grapple on the Gridiron' wrestling dual at the University of Iowa. More than 42,000 fans—a record for an NCAA collegiate dual meet—packed the Southern half of historic Kinnick stadium on Saturday to watch the Hawkeyes take on the top-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys in an epic outdoor matchup.
So how did EZ Flex become involved? During the planning stages, when it was discovered that their old mats turned rock-hard in cold weather, the university called on EZ Flex to create a massive 54' x 54' x 2" mat for the event, that would retain its performance in the cold. In the end, the weather proved to be perfect—in the mid-50s and clear—but we're proud to have had the chance to prove the quality of our mats and our service are second to none.
