Jeff Anderson

Founder

Jeff Anderson

Founder/President of Dollamur Mats Ltd., 1996-2005

Jeff Anderson devoted a lifetime to developing and manufacturing high quality, lightweight and safe equipment for the Cheerleading, Gymnastics, Martial Arts and Wrestling industries.

Anderson supplied equipment to elite athletes across many sports including the 1976 Olympic Games, 1978 Commonwealth Games, 1980 World Cup, 1983 World University Games, 1985 World Championships, and the 1993 Wrestling World Championships.

In 1978, working in a small factory, Anderson began making carpet bonded foam mats by hand. By 2005, he had become the largest manufacturer of carpet and vinyl bonded foam products in North America. He was the first in North America to use revolutionary flame lamination processes in mat construction in place of glue.

From 1985 to 1999 Jeff was president of Spieth Anderson, and in 1996 he moved his operations to Fort Worth and formed Dollamur Mats Ltd. which he operated until 2005 as the industry leader in sport surfaces.

Gary Heartsfield

Vice President

Gary Heartsfield

Inventor of the Flexible Rolling System for Mats

Gary Heartsfield has unmatched experience as an inventor and innovator of gymnastics equipment and mats. Heartsfield's research and development has continually raised industry standards for carpet and vinyl bonded foam products.

In 2001 Heartsfield invented a manufacturing process for segmenting foam rolls so they could be rolled with the vinyl or carpet side facing up. This revolutionary process allowed one individual to easily roll up a section of mat for transport or storage.

Heartsfield and Anderson began working together in 1982. They combine 64 years experience in the gymnastics and sport surface industry. Heartsfield was part owner of Dollamur Mats Ltd. until 2005.
